Site Statistics - Cookies

My primary use of identify information is to see the 'traffic'. In other words, I am interested in knowing how many times a blog post is read. Cookies are used to help collect this statistical data. This blog utilizes AdSense Cookies and Google Analytics. Users who access this blog from a European Union member country see the following 'Cookie Notice'

Comments -- Google Account Required

Another way in which user data is collected is thru user comments. This blog utilizes the Google+ Commenting Sytem. The useof this system requires someone wishing to comment on a blog post to have a Google+ account. I utilize this setting in hopes of preventing spammers from commenting on my blog. By virtue of the Google+ account, any personal data associated with that Google+ account is shared with Google.
