Firstenberger Affidavit

Affidavit
(from the 'Abstract of Title' to Lots 12-13-14, Block 72, Seneca, KS)

Nemaha County

R. M. Emery Jr. of lawful age, being duly sworn, says: that he has been a continuous resident of Seneca, Nemaha County, Kansas, for more than 38 years last past, and was intimately acquainted with Lount Firstenberger, Burnett George Firstenberger and Mildred Mary Firstenberger, great-grandchildren of Hannah Burnett, deceased, and Harriet A. Fuller, daughter of Hannah Burnett, deceased, and all named in Item 6 of the Last Will and Testament of said Hannah Burnett, deceased duly probated in Nemaha County, Kansas. That affiant lived for many years next door neighbor to said grandchildren and daughter of said Hannah Burnett, Deceased.

That said Lount Firstenberger was born Aug. 22, 1886 and Mildren Mary Firstenberger Apr. 20,  1888, while affiant was next door neighbor to them. That said Lount Firstenberger was never married, and died without issue on Aug. 8, 1904. That said Harriet A. Fuller died Mch. 20, 1911, and that on Jan. 1, 1912, said Burnett George Firstenberger and Mildred Mary Firstenberger were of legal age, and both single, and competent to convey the property described in said Item 6 of the Last Will and Testament of Hannah Burnett, deceased.
